Security
Children need security. They need to feel safe and sound and have their basic needs met. More brain development happens in the first three years than any other time.
If a child's basic needs aren't met during that time, it can have life-long consequences. Difficulties like substance abuse and poverty that interfere with basic needs being met can rewire a child's brain.
As parents, let us do what is expected of us as God deals with the impossible.
